The coat rack was very easy to put together, and is very strong. We have two children, and we pile on hats, coats, snow-pants, scarves, purses, and umbrellas -- it has never fallen over. My only complaint is that the caps on the end of the scrolls and on the very top of the coat rack are made of plastic. In my opinion it cheapens the look a little bit, and sometimes the caps make it hard for my children to hang their jackets because their stuff slides off...although it could be because they are little 5 and 3 so they aren't really tall or good at putting things away. Over all, it is a beautiful/sturdy coat rack and you can't beat the price!

    The price was reasonable. The shipping couldn't be better. It came 2 days after we ordered it. It is at our front door to collect coats and hats
    So far, it seems to be a good unit that fits our purpose. If it will bend with use, only time will tell.

    So far, we like the unit and are pleased with it, and glad we purchased it.
