    I did not want a product that required assembly. I was told by the sales person I spoke with by phone, that all I would need to do is screw the poles together. That was simply not true. It left a huge mess in my office until I was able to find someone who could assemble it. Way too many pieces for "requires little assembly." But my patients did think it looked nice. So far it has been okay with holding coats.

        I use this rack in my office at a mental health clinic for clients to hang their things. It looks great, has plenty of hanging space, and is made of great materials. Easy installation/instructions. My only complaint is the hardware that secures it to the (very solid) base... it did not fasten securely so there is a slight wobble to the stand. Not really a serious problem, and maybe I didnt put that washer in the right spot!

          I wanted a small coat tree by my back entrance and this fits the bill exactly. The assembly instructions were easy to follow as the parts were packaged and labeled to follow the directions sequentially. Except for the allen wrench (provided) used to tighten the base, everything else simply hand threaded into place.I am very pleased with my purchase.
