I purchased this coat rack because I was tired of not having a place in our home to hang coats, coveralls, etc. I am very please with this coat rack. It is very sturdy and it was easy to assemble and I loved the fact that it already had pilot holes for the screws! One of our son's saw it and made the comment that he wished they had one, so I just ordered him one for next Christmas! I will be checking this web site during the year, all the kids may get one for Christmas!

This coat rack looks very nice and works great. My only problem was that the threaded insert that is used to screw the top half of the rack into the bottom half, stripped out while assembling it. Perhaps I applied too much torque while screwing them together but I didn't think so. Anyhow, I had to use wood glue to securely place the threaded insert back in place to screw the two halve's together. It does bend slightly at the center but that's probably from not wanting to screw the two halve's together too tightly and stripping out the insert again. Other than that, the rack has worked great and feels very stable (as far as the base is concerned).

    This coat rack is made of sturdy materials. It has a secure base. I hung eight heavy jackets on the coat rack. It was very easy to assemble (and I usually not good at putting things together). I am very pleased with this purchase.

      Sturdy coat rack - holds all of our winter coats without bending.
      When putting on the legs, the Allen wrench supplied became rounded and useless, so I had to use my own.
      Assembly takes less than 30 minutes.

        We've been needing a coat rack for some time now. We found this one and the price was reasonable. It arrived quickly and was fairly easy to assemble. We would have given the item 5 stars but unfortunately, there was a small chip in the wood. The chip isn't visible with coats hanging on it, but that's not the point. Other than that, the coat rack is beautiful and seems sturdy.
